LONDON.- Copper closed with a 0.67% drop today at the London Metal Exchange (LME) after trading for US$ 1.41521 per pound.
As a result, the monthly average fell to US$ 1.50470 while the yearly average slipped to US$ 3.25905.
Meanwhile, the future-3-month price ended at US$ 1.42292 per pound, down 1.72% from Monday (US$ 1.44787).
At the LME, stocks increased by 1.850 metric tons to 302, 575. So far this year, there has been an accumulated increase of 102,125 MT (+53.24%).
