SANTIAGO.- Five young adults between the ages of 18 and 20 have been injured following a collision between two automobiles in the municipality of Las Condes.
The incident took place at the intersection of Bilbao and Tomás Moro, when the driver of a Fiat automobile carrying four passengers lost control and slammed into a Chevrolet carrying three women.
According to Radio Cooperativa, the violent nature of the impact caused the Chevrolet to end up on top of the Fiat and resulted in varying degrees of injuries to the passengers, who were taken to the Hospital Salvador, Clínica Alemana and Clínica Santa María medical facilities.
The medical centers have indicated that three of the crash victims were severely injured, although none are in a life-threatening condition.
