Carlos Chandía to referee at Colo Colo-Palestino final

SANTIAGO.- The finals of the Clausura Tournament between Colo Colo and Palestino -scheduled for 6:30 PM this Saturday at the Monumental Stadium- have been assigned a definite referee.

Although Jorge Osoria had initially been considered for the job, it was confirmed today that Carlos Chandía will arbitrate for the decisive match.

Following the participation of controversial referee Rubén Selman in the first final match of the tournament, Chillán native Chandía has been chosen for his extensive experience with similar games.

Chandía's assistants for this Saturday will be Cristián Julio and Francisco Mondría.  Meanwhile, Jorge Osoria has been chosen as a fourth referee.

The referees will be staying at a hotel in eastern Santiago tomorrow along with the players of both teams.
