SANTIAGO.- The Palestino soccer team is upset –very upset–. Statements released by Colo Colo indicating that they already consider themselves the champions and asserting that the players on Palestino do not have enough experience to play a final match were not well received by Luis Musrri's squadron.

This was the impression given by Luis Pavez, who assured that "Colo Colo is under a lot of pressure, which is why they are saying such ridiculous things".

Pavez added that "they are overly sure of themselves and they think that we are a weak team, that we shouldn't even show up to play because they are already the champions".

"These kinds of statements clearly indicate that they are feeling the pressure, since we cannot forget that they were unable to score against us with 11 players", he declared.

The 20 year old winger went even further and decided to launch his own statements against Colo Colo coach Marcelo Barticciotto saying, "He thinks he is already the champion and seems to lack respect. We have never looked down upon anyone; we are just a humble team that dreams of making history".
