SANTIAGO.- The Santiago Metropolitan Intendent, Igor Garafulic, arrived at the last floor of the Entel Tower this morning to inspect the installation work being done to set up the fireworks that will be shot of on New Year's Eve in one of the most important pyrotechnics displays of the capital city.

Along with the head of corporate media for Entel, Germán Ausensi, Garafulic visited the projects to set up more than seven tons of fireworks in the last three floors of the tower.

The Intendent stated that there will be 11 duly-authorized fireworks displays on Wednesday night, which have already been coordinated with police and fire-fighters in order to provide maximum safety measures.

Additionally, there will also be 11 mega-parties including those that are scheduled to be held at the Club Hípico, Teatro Caupolicán and Movistar Arena. Along with security measures at the events, the amount of people allowed to enter will also be controlled to ensure the number of guests does not exceed the number of tickets sold.
