SANTIAGO.– Smiles were brought back to the faces of Calama this Sunday after Cobreloa won 3-0 against Ñublense. The victory came at the tail end of a turbulent start for the team in the Apertura and Copa Chile tournaments.

Unfortunately, as soon as they got back to training, complications arose once again in the Second Region.

A string of injured players has Coach Marcelo Trobbiani with a serious headache, since his main responsibility is to mentor the younger additions to the club.

Even before Sunday's game, players Rodrigo Mannara, Eduardo Vargas and Victor Osorio were on the bench. But following the match against Chillán, the list got longer with injured players Michael Silva and Lucas Gauna.

The offensive zone is where the team has been left most vulnerable due to the absence of three key players (Mannara, Vargas and Silva).

In spite of all of this the Coach is optimistic. "We have players; we have a lineup of boys who do not crumble in the face of a challenge. I am very pleased with them", stated Trobbiani.
