SANTIAGO.- Chilean golfer Felipe Aguilar finished the day today in sixth place of the Perth Tournament in Australia, falling only two strokes behind the leaders: American Anthony Kang and Irish golfer Damián McGrane.

Aguilar ended the second day of the tournament with the same number of swings taken as the first day (68), bringing him to a total of 136 strokes over both days, which is 8 under par.

Kang -champion of the Malaysia Open last week- and McGrane lead the scoreboard with 134 hits, which is 10 below par for the course at The Vines Resort & Country Club.

The list of hopefuls to win the tournament is still quite broad, as there are currently nine players tied only 2 points from the lead: Chilean golfer Felipe Aguilar; John Bickerton of England; Adam Blyth, Andrew Dodt, Ferry Pilkadaris and Andre Stolz of Australia; Robert-Jan Derkensen of Holland; Athony Kim of the United States and Mardan Mamat of Singapore.

A poor performance by Colombian national Camilo Villegas, who is ninth in the World ranking, was bad news for Latin America, when he was unable to make the cut after accumulating143 shots.
