SANTIAGO.- The most harrowing Primera B news reported last weekend was the scandal provoked by players from Coquimbo Unido and Deportes Antfogasta during a match played at the Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso sports facility.

The game ended in the Fourth Region's favor, however what really stood out about the match were the incidents that involved players from both teams as they made their way to the locker rooms during halftime.

A scuffle ended with at-home players Osvaldo Gullace, Carlos Tejas and Coach Víctor Milanese being expelled from the match along with Antofagasta players José Pedrozo and Cristián Rojas.

Rojas is currently facing a more complex situation after he was arrested by police and charged with assault following the incident. Meanwhile, Patricio Peralta was hospitalized for a testicular injury that resulted after he was allegedly hit by Pedrozo.

Yesterday, the Disciplinary Tribunal of the ANFP decided to punish the players involved in the episode with a match suspension, although the incident will continue to be investigated next week.

Those sanctioned were Carlos Tejas and Osvaldo Gullace of Coquimbo Unido, as well as José Pedrozo and Cristian Rojas of Deportes Antofogasta. The case of Coach Victor Milanese is still pending, although he has been cleared to coach this weekend.
