SANTIAGO.- Less than 24 hours before the upcoming decisive match between Colo Colo and Liga Deportiva Universitaria in Quito, the captain of Colo Colo, Arturo Sanhueza, has decided to step forward and try to put an end to speculation and controversy surrounding the team.

According to Radio ADN, the Colo Colo captain asked to talk to the press after finding out that Marcelo Barticciotto did not regret the public ultimatum he had given the team, indicating that he "would start cutting heads" if necessary to get rid of any undedicated players.

"I want to back my teammates and say that there is absolutely no lack of dedication or honesty, the truth is I would not accept that", stated Sanhueza.

The captain also stressed that he disagrees with what has taken place in recent days.

"I feel like this is putting in doubt our honesty, our professionalism, our loyalty to the club, to our fans, to our families", he asserted.

"All of us, and I as the captain, want to bring this hearsay rumor situation to an end today", he added.
