SANTIAGO.- The Colo Colo shareholder's meeting scheduled for today in Macul was different from those of the past.

The crisis that the team is currently involved in has generated a verbal debate between those who support the team and those who back Coach Marcelo Barticciotto.

Club president Gabriel Ruiz-Tagle had to hear out both sides at the meeting yesterday with the team trainers and some of the players.

"We cannot become disparaged or lose our sense of reality. We had a very productive conversation yesterday with the trainers and some of the players, who showed a strong desire to move forward", he stated.

"We have always said that we support technical decisions and we are not going to budge even one millimeter from this. Here on Colo Colo, there are no disposable members, we have to accept the attributes that our team of trainers has to offer", he added.

Finally, Gabriel Ruiz-Tagle indicated that he hopes for an end to the crisis. "We have asked the team not to make any more statements (…) and we are calm because the situation will be resolved within a week. We will have to compromise on both ends", he concluded.
