Train crashes into school van in Los Lagos, 30 injured

SANTIAGO. -  A cargo train crashed into a school van, leaving 30 people injured in the Los Ríos Region.

The accident took place in the town of Los Lagos, located 85 kilometers south of Validivia.

As a result of the impact, 28 children were injured along with the driver of the van, who is currently listed in critical condition.

All of the victims have been transported to the Los Lagos Hospital, except for one girl, who was taken to Valdivia.

Radio Cooperativa has reported that emergency crews are currently working at the site of the crash.
