SANTIAGO.- After an upsetting weekend spent interviewing Mauricio Israel in Jerusalem, Felipe Camiroaga vented his frustrations today on the morning talk show "Buenos días a todos" regarding the incident that took place with those who were sent to the Middle East with the "Primer Plano" program.
During an interview that took place at the Park Plaza Hotel in Tel Aviv, there was a confrontation between members of the crew of "Animal Nocturno" (TVN) and the Chilevisón program.
Camiroaga did not wish to reveal details about the altercation but did speak out about the television station's rival while on the air. "We had a complex issue with Chilevisión. That caused Mauricio Israel to close up like an oyster", stated the T.V. host.
"Additionally, I found out that people from Chilevisión may have said that we were the aggressors (…) I trust that the executives at Chilevision don't want this on their screen".
Camiroaga concluded in a more reconciling manner saying, "the anxiety got to us a bit. I was sure that Chilevisión was going to take images from our work. I was willing to accept it. But the situation that we had in the hotel was very complex. I hope that we can talk to the executives at Chilevision - that we can get in touch with them and move forward".
