SANTIAGO. - The Central North Public Attorney’s Office asked for 60 days of community service to be given to Miguel A.S., a teenager who was issued a verbal arraignment (the equivalent of an indictment for adults) this morning at the Second Penalty Court of Santiago.
The boy had been arrested after the mother of the victim contacted police to press charges against “Miguelito”.
According to statements made by the Public Attorney, the death threats made by the boy were in response to his now ex-girlfriend’s decision to break off the couple’s relationship.
The arrest brings the number of times Miguel has been detained to 16. Currently, the teenager also has two other legal proceedings pending.
