Over 20 thousand tickets already sold for Chile-Bolivia game

For their second-to-final home game in the Qualifying matches, the National "Roja" team coached by Marcelo Bielsa is expecting to play in a packed Stadium.

SANTIAGO.- 21,734 tickets have already been sold for the second-to-final home match of the Chilean National Soccer Team in the qualifying phase for the South Africa 2010 World Cup.


On Wednesday, June 10 at 9:00 PM in the National Stadium, Chile goes up against Bolivia in what could potentially be a huge step for the National Team in their race to make it to South Africa.


The tickets are on sale at Paris department stores in Iquique, La Serena, Viña del Mar, Valparaíso, Rancagua, Curicó, Talca, Concepción and Santiago; and are also available at the Feria del Disco in Antofagasta, La Serena, Viña del Mar, Rancagua, Talca, Chillán, Concepción, Temuco, Osorno and Puerto Montt.


Ticket prices run from $9,800 pesos in the general stands to $143,800 in the "high pacific" seats. An additional 20% discount is offered if one purchases with the "Mas" card ($7.800 general).


Chile goes up against Paraguay next Saturday, June 6th at 6:50 PM at the Defensores del Chaco Stadium. On Wednesday they compete against Bolivia, and then go on to confront Venezuela (on September 5th or 6th) in the National Stadium, and after visiting Brazil (September 8th or 9th) and Colombia (10th or 11th of October), they will close out their participation with a match against Ecuador in Nuñoa (October 13th or 14th).
