SANTIAGO.- Journalist and TVN anchorman Mauricio Bustamante issued a calming message this morning after visiting his co-worker, Consuelo Saavedra, and the Minister of Finance, Andrés Velasco, who currently have their youngest daughter hospitalized at the Clínica Las Condes after she fell into a pool in Zapallar and nearly drowned on Tuesday.

"She (Consuelo) is calm, there are positive signs and hopefully everything will turn out well", Bustamante stated while leaving the medical facility.

The reporter thanked the public for the amount of support that has been expressed for Saavedra and Velasco.

"Many people have called us to pass on their regards. I want to thank all of the people that have been sending support to Ema, Andrés and Consuelo", he stated. Bustamante also mentioned the services that have been organized to pray for the little girl's recovery.

"There are prayer chains that have been started by Internet, telephone and mail", Bustamante indicated while calling for people to continue to pray for the child.
